Har en malawiciklid, Protomelas sp. "steveni taiwan", Higga Reef. Hela kroppen är svullen på den och ögonen är gigantiskt stora, de är svullna och står ut. Vad är det för sjukdom? Vad ska jag göra? smittar det? Hjälp mig...

Jag tror inte att det är det. Ögonen är gigantiskt stora och står ut. Det är inte bara magen som är svullen som vid bukvattensot, hela kroppen är svullen. Ingen som vet vad det kan vara?

Vid utstående ögon har jag sett följande förklaringar:

Corneybacteriosis
Symptoms: Bulging eyes
Treatment: There are a few commercially available products which treat corneybacteriosis. Penicillin and tetracycline are among them.

Information: Corneybacteria causes swelling in the head which will push the eyes outward. It is caused by overcrowding and water of poor quality, having an excess of ammonia and / or nitrites.

Exophthalmia- (Popeye):
Symptom: Bulging eyes.
Popeye or Corneybacteriosis will cause swelling in the head of the fish causing the eyes to protrude outwards. Popeye is a condition and not an actual disease. It can affect one eye or both. Possible causes are poor water quality, trauma, internal bacterial infection and also Gas Bubble Disease.
