And I found cow shit, but it did not appear new ... so I decided that the area was safe, at least in terms of cows!
The map that was sitting on the notice board at Stiby Backe was quite bad, so I went looking for a better one online. I found one in a tourist book of Blekinge all nature protected areas
... and it had even height contours .
The "road" with blue arrows is the first trek I made ... but it was quite tough. It was so steep up - and down! - so my legs turned to spaghetti legs ...
I asked my workmates if they knew where the cholera cemetery was, but they had never heard of it before (but gave me cautions insertion ... are you crazy, woman ... go there yourself, what are you doing if something goes wrong ? Good question ... but why should something go wrong?),
So with fresh batteries into the phone - if something unfortunate should happen! - and into the camera, I decided to follow the red-orange trail again, but in the opposite direction (red arrows) this time...
You can see an R in the southern part of the map, and it stands for "Ruin", or - as in this case - the place where cholera cemetery should be. Quite a long way to go, but if I has said A, I must say B.
Perhaps it would be smarter - or at least not so far - to attack the target from Hällevik, but I could not find the side road in there ...
Second trial ...
The weather was not as nice as the first time I was here, but at it again .
Quite directly, I came down to the first stone wall ... guessing it was the same stonewall as I saw the other day, laid with carefully worked stones.
A few hundred meters later, I passed another wall. This looked like, however, most others walls in Listerlandet, with a lot of naturally formed stone ...

Here it is much easier to go land has slopes of just a bit and - indeed - most laterally. The paths are not as rocky, either, but consists in large part by grassy solid soil ... perfect for me and others with dodgy feet.
"Vitsippor & Vårlök"
In the edge of the mountain are flowers growing... approximately half of Blåsipporna is more or less pink. Is they called Blåsippa, anyway?
There is also growing Vitsippor, and a I also found a few Vårlökar on the slope ...
Old oak trees, but actually also some conifers ... and a nice overview of the farms in Stiby. Ohoh, cow eggs ... that means that the cows live there! Do not let the cows out now, please ...
Flowers and plants with all due respect, but it was "R: t" on the map I should try to find ... where could it be "for real"?
Unfortunately, I never understood me at orientation, I do not even have a compass ... so I was looking at random for something I do not know how looked.
What does a cholera cemetery look like? Is there a rock - or similar - that tells me that I found the place?
Will probably try to find out how my goal - Cholera cemetery - looks like, before I continue ...
Slowly started realize that I did not know what I wanted, but took the opportunity to look out over the parish from a slope pasture.
"A small vessel in Hälleviks bay ..."
"Two new wind turbines are on the rise ..."
"The peaked roof is Mjällby Church ..."
"Radio masts at Björkenabben ..."
"Kråkenabben?"
"Mjallby AIFs home arena Strandvallen ..."
Regret actually that I always said I just want a small pocket camera ... for it had probably become better photo with a "real" camera .
I was with my father and looked on the fences around the pasture, when the cows became uncomfortably intimate ... nearly so I could feel their breath in my back.
We tried to scare them, but no ... we split up, and all the stupid cow followed ME.
It was NOT fun!
